Background

China culture is older than 5000 years and contains an enormous variety and diversity.
The Chinese culture boasts of numerous types of arts, printing, painting, science, sculpture, and
pottery. The literature, language, politics, and philosophy of Chinese continue to exert significant
i9nfluence across the world. China culture has about 56 ethnic groups the largest being Han
Chinese, representing 92% ("The upper Han", 2019). There are hundreds of languages spoken in
China and they include Altaic, Indo European, Sino Tibetan, Austro-Asiatic, among others.
Twenty-one languages of the entire group have unique writing systems. In terms of religion,
there are three main religions, known as Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. Taoism is more
of a philosophy than a religion in China but with a huge following. Using this background, this
study presents a description of PK, a 32 years old Chinese male, and a Buddhist by religion.
