R = 7 ohm + 8 phm

= 15 ohm

Again, the equivalent resistance in the circuit is

1 / Re = 1 / 6 ohm + 1/ 15 ohm

Re = 4.28 ohm

Now, the current flows through the circuit is

I = V / Re

= 2 V / 4.28 ohm

= 0.467 A

Now, potentential diffrence between 7 ohm and 8 ohm is 2 V.

Thus, the current that fllows through 7 ohm and 8 ohm is

I'15 = V / Re

= 2 V / 15 ohm

= 0.133 A

Thus, the voltage across 8 ohm is

V8 = I15 (8 ohm)

= (0.133 A) (8 ohm)

= 1.064 V

Therefore, the voltage across 8 ohm is 1.064 V.
