Introduction

In the year 1975, the well-known artistic team of Russia which was composed of two
individual created a series of creative work. The members of this team were Aleksandr Melamid
and Vitaly Komar. Each of the small paintings described objects, performances, and manifestos
and myth of Stalin. So many activities took place in the Soviet dissident era.
At first sight, the paintings by Aleksandr Melamid could maybe be perceived and
believed to be work of art from personality cult days. The pictures were done the 1980s, yet by
artists who were from the oppositional artistic groups and whose artwork was prohibited from
being displayed (Komar & Melamid, 1979). However, by developing and creating characters, the
two artists were successfully able to evaluate the conventional notion of the way identity is
formed.
In the painting, it is clear how Stalin is described alongside the muse of art. The Judith on
the red square was a representation of socialist realism. The picture refers to a popular theme in
western art history. Western art is also considered to be the myth of origin. In the history of the
Western, this myth was known as the Dibutades myth. The tale describes the birth and
