1. My responsibilities as an Interior designers are improving interior spaces to meet the needs and preferences of assorted spaces. While I may work on a wide variety of homes & buildings, but my job duties are usually the same. Being an interior designer my responsibility is planning, designing and coordinating in
the space creation and renovation that meets the tastes and preferences of the clients. My duties
are meeting with clients and architects to be able to discuss the client needs. I also have the
responsibility of using software design in creating models and visuals that satisfies the client’s
needs. My responsibility also involves costs estimation, material, and labor selection, sketching
the interior constructions and inspecting the work of the tradespeople to ensure quality and the
safety standards are being met.
The responsibilities that I like is making a unique design which fits the space of the client
and also being able to complete the project on the time given by the client. One of the
responsibilities that I dislike is timeframe because sometimes I work under pressure so as to
complete on time. Secondly, I dislike labor selection since some of the employees do not meet
the standards which are required (Webb, and Dickinson, pp 54).
