The tension in the story "A Doll's House" is that certain characters obtain information before other's do. For instance when Nora is trying to prevent Krogstad from telling her husband about her past crimes, there is tension between her and the selfish and oppressive attitudes of her husband Torvald and of society. I think the name Doll House convey's an imprisoned image of a woman trapped in a world that has too much restriction. No freedom from the Victorian marriage norms. However this story can be disagreeable to some people because Nora Helmer leaves her three children at the end of the story. A Doll's House depicts a story of a traditional household where people follow predictable behavior and rules.
