Assume that you have access to a fleet of cars, but each car is old and has a 50% chance of starting.  Next assume that you need a car to get to class.  How do you determine the probability of getting to class if the "fleet" has only one such car?  Two cars?  And finally, three cars?

If the fleet has only one car then ,if the car is starting then only I can get to the clas.

So the probability of getting to the class equals to the probability of starting the car.

If the fleet has one car the the probability =0.5 ,as the probability of starting one car is 0.5.

Probability of going to class if the fleet has 2 car =.>Probability of starting at leat one car=>1-2C1(.5)^2 =.5

Probability of getting to the class if the fleet has 3 car=>1-3C1(.5)^3=.625
