Need math help with a perimeter

The formula for finding the perimeter is (l+w)2 that  is length plus width then you multiply by 2  since perimeter is going round the figure 

hence  the perimeter of the rectangle is  25+14=39 then 39*2 = 78

78 is the perimeter
