The human service professional must have a personal constitution which supports and represents the values stated in the NOHS Code of Ethics. The code of ethics and laws should guide your professional practice. You also read about how the human service professional must maintain boundaries. Establishing and managing appropriate boundaries for the professional allows for good practices. The readings allowed you to self-examine and reflect on ethical codes, laws, and appropriate decisions. Recognizing unethical behavior in yourself and your colleagues allows for competence and responsibility.Discuss an area in which you might be uncertain about your position in an unethical dilemma with a client.
