Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
The world is split between the wealthy developed countries of the north and the poor developing countries of the South. Globally , inequality and poverty is disproportionately represented by this dividing line that separates the two hemispheres. Most of the world's population lives in poverty in the global south .The North -US, Canada , Europe and developed parts of East Asia controls world's income while Latin America, South Africa and developing Asia only holds lesser income. So people in developing countries have poor medical health care facilities that developed countries in North.
The challenges for developing countries is to reorient health sectors towards managing chronic diseases and the special needs to the elderly.Leaders must make two steps-shift health sectors priorities to include chronic diseases prevention and care for elderly people. There should be more planning for this.More clinics should be opened with all the medicines necessary to treat these diseases. So great leadership is required for great challenges in developing countries.
