Introduction
Incidence Response consists of the approaches taken to mitigate a system breach. The
response requires organized steps that prevent future occurrence of the attack. The following
paper is a combination of actions taken in case there is a reported attack on a firm’s systems from
the perspective of the organization’s IT, manager.
The initial steps
The first step would be preparation. According to Roberts and Brown (2017), preparation
allows the IT team to develop strategies that prevent the attack from doing more damage. The
