Description:Your annotated bibliography will be comprised of sources that you may use for your final research paper.   • An annotation that includes the following three parts:
  1. Summary: What is the main argument? Main points? Topics covered?
  2. Assessment: Evaluate the source. Is it a useful source? Is the information reliable? Is the source biased or objective? What does the goal of the source seem to be?
  3. Reflection: How does this source fit into your research? Will it help shape your argument? How? Has it changed how you think about your topic?
  • Each annotation should be single-spaced, with a space between each of the three parts. Each part should have an appropriate bold subheading (“Summary,” “Assessment” or “Reflection”). Please use block format.
  • As a general guide, each entry should take about one-half of a page.
