Choi, Gudmunson, Griesdorn, and Hong in their article examine the students’ needs that prompt them to face financial stress, and end up seeking financial counseling. The aim of the article is to understand why students seek financial counseling and the circumstances that cause them to stress about their finances. Choi et al., carried out a study with a sample of 554 students who sought financial counseling to investigate the financial problems that increased stress due to lack of money.
