Conflict Situation


 Conflicts are common workplace occurrences.
 In one such incident at the workplace, one employee was always
defensive that the boss did not like him. It was evident from the day to
day operations in the company that the boss would delegate
responsibilities to his colleagues.
 According to the boss, the said employee was very slow and could
handle tasks in a shallow manner leading to the boss's preference of
his colleagues.
 This led to open defiance on the boss as well as badmouthing by the
employee causing divisions in the company with those supporting the
employee on one side and those in support of the boss on the other
side.

Handling of the Situation


 The leader of the department had to step in to try and resolve
the conflict. He sought to get a clear understanding of the issue
by indulging both groups and analyzing the problems at hand
