Describe the basic characteristics common to T lymphocytes.

T cells are isolated in the small intestine and are specific to certain diseases.  T lymphocytes (T cells) are made in the bond marrow.  T cells are then moved away from the bond marrow and are matured in the Thymus.  T lymphocytes can bind to infected receptor cells and destroy them.  T cells are involved in cell-mediated immunity, and play a huge role in the body's immune system.  T lymphocytes also only react to parts of antigens, but not the whole antigen.
