Healthcare organizations have various challenges that affect their operations and the
interactions that they have with their clients. Staff members have to contend with high levels job
assignments, and this affects the general understanding that they have with each other. as staff
members, the challenges experienced will transform the healthcare outcomes of the hospital, and
through this affect service delivery.
Informing of the Problem
The hospital size exposes staff members to various challenges that affect the
understanding that they have, and through this affect service delivery and exposure to quality
outcomes. In recent times, the hospital is experiencing massive staff shortage across all
departments. The ratios of staff members to parents is high, and this reduces the service delivery
and the job outcomes expected therein.
The second issue affecting the hospital is poor job satisfaction, which results in high
turnover. The high levels of labor exertion needed compared to the relatively modest pay do not
serve as incentives to make employees retain their employment status with the hospital. The
employees leave in droves seeking better working conditions. There is also a low level of
understanding between employees, and this does not make them understand each other
effectively. This will result in low job satisfaction, and consequently, high turnover rates.
