Considering the cultural assumptions and beliefs underlying a perfectionist mentality: perfection is always expected; mistakes are not allowed. This assumption can create an environment inhospitable to quality improvement. How would you change that perception?

For you to change this perception you must respect and love yourself. treat yourself with the respect you deserve and learn that you have your own rights.

you can also change this perception by learning what motivates you for perfection. understand the reason as to why you are a perfectionist and do not focus so much on the myths surrounding perfectionism.

This perception can also be changed by focusing on the what is important. do no take much time on non issues but you should instead focus on the big picture of what you are doing.

For you to change this perception, you should also learn to accept the outcome of what you do whether it is good or not. Do not focus much on perfection and always learn to give credit where due.
