My philosophy for the nursing practice has to do with enhancing the life of the patient
and using the most effective and patient-focused approach in tending to patients to promote their
health. As such, the passionate nursing practitioner, in my opinion, is the one who is focused on
improving the quality of life for individual facing illnesses and other conditions. Such
individuals have a personality that likes to bring the best out of the others and are thus also good
team workers. They tend to perceive a problem and finding its solution as the priority in any
given project. As such, the individual is poised towards providing the patient and the physician
the highest level of support for effective treatment. Advanced nursing practitioners may
sometimes diagnose and treat diseases as part of helping the patient manage their condition.
Essentially, my idea of nursing is that of supporting a healthy world. The nurse cannot fully
support health in their environment if they are not interested in promoting health or in the
techniques involved in helping people to manage disease. My idea of the ideal nurse, therefore, is
