From figure
Co-ordinate of point A is (-2 , -1)
Point B is (0 , 3)
Point of C is (1 , 2)
In general distance between two points(x , y) and (a , b) is [(x - a)^2 + (y - b)^2]^{1/2}
So distance between point A and B is= [(-2 - 0)^2 + (-1 - 3)^2]^{1/2}
= [4 + 16]^{1/2}
= [20]^{1/2}
distance between point B and C is= [(0 - 1)^2 + (3 - 2)^2]^{1/2}
= [1 + 1]^{1/2}
= [2]^{1/2
Distance between point A and C is = [(1+2)^2 + (2 + 1)^2]^{1/2}
= [9 + 9 ]^{1/2}
= [18]^{1/2}
As we know Equilateral Triangle is that triangle whose three sides are equal.
Isosceles Triangle is that triangle whose two sides are equal.
Scalene Triangle is that triangle whose no sides are equal.
Si in above triangle all sides of triangle are not equal .
So , this triangle is known as Scalene Triangle.
