Project Management
Project management defines the process of applying skills, tools, knowledge and
techniques related to the desired project to meet the requirements of the intended project. People
are asserted to be the most important resource of a project. In such, projects need specific
expertise, for instance, human resource managers. Project managers play a great role at specific
periods of the project schedule in attribute to the intended milestones to be achieved or the phase
upon which the project has to run. In the modern world, an organization can host several
strategic projects at once, provided that they fit at in the budget of the year. During such a period,
it depicts that employees in the organization might be working on more than one project at this
period. Human resources management fail to due to lack of competency in management right
from the start of the desired project.
Directing a project involves a process whereby the project managers or the project board
share part of a project to another party. In such, the board members are the one responsible for
the success off the project through making appropriate decisions. Also, the board members are in
full control of the project while delegating the day to day activities of the project. Directing a
project has several benefits to an organization, especially during the PRINCE2 process
