### Question Description

Gian has a rope that is 135 feet long. The 2nd piece is twice as long as the 1st piece. The 3rd piece is 3 times as long as the 1st piece. How long is the longest piece of rope?

Is it x+1+x+2+x+3=135?

Or 2x+x+6x=135?

So, how do you set up the equations?
