How do I find the equation of an undefined slope?

slope=(y1-y2)/(x1-x2)

slope=-8-11/(3-3)

=-11/0

so it s undefined

slope==>infinite

it mean the line is parallel to the y axis

so we can write the eqaution of the line as fallows

lets get any x,y and (-3-8)

then

slope=y+3/x+8=infinite

then

y+3/infinite=x+8

any number/infinite=0

so x+8=0

x=-8


so the equation of the line is x=-8
