Need statistics help for finding the percentile in a set of data

Question Description

listed are the 32 ages for Academy Award winning best actors in order from smallest to largest

18, 18, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 31, 33, 36, 37, 37, 41, 42, 47, 52, 55, 57, 58, 62, 64, 67, 69, 71, 72, 73, 74, 76, 77

find the percentile of 71

the test says it is 83rd but I got a different answer HELP!

The lower class limit of 27 is 26.5

The percentile of 26.5 = 26.5/32 *100 =82.81%

Rounding off brings the percentile to 83rd
