The volume is 40mL, what will the mass and density be?

Density = Volume/Mass

you need to be given another value in order to figure out one another.

40mL= Mass/Density

if you are dunking it in water, then you should know that water's density is 1 g/cm^3

so 40mL= Density/1g/cm^3

= 40g
