Introduction
Marxism is a concept originated by a well-renowned economist and philosopher called
Karl Heinrich Marx and much supported by Friedrich Engels. The idea was developed to forge for
a communist set up and oppose capitalism. It revealed the class struggles within the society that
were attributed to by the historical materialism and production, which essentially formed the core
of the economic fabric of the community. To better understand the details of this concept, there
are two key personalities whose contributions must be looked at. The first one is Marx. He is the
brainchild of this theory with ideologies of historical materialism, class struggle, economy, and
societal analysis. The second one was Engels. He massively contributed to the Marxist ideology
by offering most of the shreds of evidence to Marx's ideas.
