Why is human change agents most often associated with continuous change? Why is non-human change agents most often associated with discontinuous change? Is every manager a change agent? Why or why not?
Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
Human change agents are associated with continuous change because it is a change over a time and is expected. This change is also understood because it has the capacity to bring cumulative and substantial change.
Non humans are associated with discontinuous change because it is a sudden change that is not expected. It is also hard to understand because it drastically alters how things have been done for years and it requires one to respond to it with skills that have not yet been acquired.
Every manager is a change agent because they always want to introduce something new in that will transform the organization. They also come up with new ideas that will maintain or improve the reputation of an organization.
