Assume the population proportion is to be estimated from the sample described. Find the approximate margin of error and the 95% confidence interval for the population proportion. Sample size=289, Sample proportion=0.28 (Round four decimal places)

E = zα/2/(2√ n) where E is the error we require, we need to standardize the data

alpha is 0.05.we divide by 2 to get 1.96/(2*289*0.5)=0.05765 about 5.76% error
