Chapter Readings Reflections Journal

Data visualization are useful in helping humans understand large amounts of data quickly,
and they are also useful communication tools when presenting findings about a collection of
data.
1. Prompt 1: Number of Units sold
The prompt above represents a pictogram located in a bar graph of digital
products which include a portable cd player, DVD player and a big screen TV where
each is sold in different quantities. The pictogram communicates about the size of the
products where the size of big screen tv appears the biggest then the DVD player and
portable cd player being the smallest of them all and also suggest their actual sizes
since in the actual eye a big screen tv appears to be the biggest and a DVD player
