A Visit to San Diego Museum of Man
There is something for everyone at the Museum of Man in San Diego from the truth
about cannibalism, to the monsters, the power of secrets, the beer history, and to human
relationship with animals. Located at the heart of Balboa Park, the Museum is a cultural
anthropology that explores experiences of humans from different perspectives, which include
their dialogues and self-reflection. An exploration at the Museum helped me view a variety of
interactive and unique exhibits covering a wide range of human culture and history. The
presentations included cannabis: Myth and Reality, monsters, living with Animals, and race. The
piece of information gathered from the various exhibits was very informative and one that could
not be forgotten.
Living with animals was an exhibit that moved me. I had a chance to learn the history of
humans with animals over 15, 000 years ago. For a very long time, man has formed relationships
with different kind of animals. I had a chance to enjoy different Living with Animals programs
that included holding reptiles and encounters with various insects. You never know what it is like
to have an insect bite not unless you encounter delectable bites from various insects. I also had a
chance to discover how animals become our pets ...
