After analyzing all the course concepts and decisions made in the healthcare
environment, I decided to settle on supporting patients make decisions concerning their lives and
when to end it if the cases are unbearable (Ivanov, & Oden, 2013). I had to use the rational
decision-making model to arrive at this stand as it analyses all the aspects of the topic to arrive at
an entirely sensible choice. Rational decision making consists of eight steps that work together in
the evaluation of a particular concept then determines the best perspective of looking at it. I
thought about the pain that individuals must go through in the process of dealing with a chronic
disease and believed that the best way is to allow the victim decide if he or she will continue
suffering or medically end the life. It would only be realistic if there is a chance to ensure that
people do not suffer for anything and still die a painful death while increasing medical bills. The
