A year ago I was working for an IT company.the manager had the tendency to keep the workers for long hours after work and failed to pay them their overtime payment.I decided to air our grievances to him and try to make him understand our situation.
The manager did not listen to me and this really demoralised me ,I felt disrespected and not considered as important to the company despite our hard work and commitment to achieve positive results for the firm.
Looking back the decision was not justified because,the manager needed to acknowledge the effort and energy that his juniors rivet in their work and they deserved better treatment for their hard work.
