Answer the following self-evaluation questions:
- Why do you want to start your company?
- What kind of business do you want to start?
- Are you emotionally suited to start and run my own business?
- Are you financially prepared to start my own business?
- Are you willing to invest the time and energy it takes to succeed?
- What skills of training will you need? Do you have them or will you need to take special training?
- Do you have what it takes?

Entrepreneurship is not a journey for the faint-hearted. In the entrepreneur quiz on
whether I should start a business, I scored 24/25. On the second quiz on my entrepreneurship
quotient, I scored 13/22 that translates to 59 percent. The third quiz was about whether I have
what it takes to be an entrepreneur where I scored 66 percent. From the above results, it is
evident that I have the capability and emotional capacity to become an entrepreneur.
Nevertheless, I acknowledge the fact that I need to continually work on some of my traits to
enable me to adapt to the riskiness of various ventures quickly.
