The three systems that interact in King’s Conceptual System Theory are explained below:
i.

Personal system
The personal system denotes such concepts as self-growth, perception, space, time,
growth and development. The above are essential since they help the nurse understand human
beings since the same refers to the way that nurses interact and view personal goals from selfbased ones. According to Kings, the way one perceives themselves, their body image, their space
and time is all capable of influencing how they respond to events and objects. According to
Kings, Perception was the most critical and King referred to the same as the process in which
information is organized, Interpreted, and transformed from the sense data and memory to their
experience (Caceres, 2015). In other words, King said that an individual image of what reality is
determined one's behavior. The self in the definition referred to the feelings and thoughts, which
determined the way a person is aware of their personal experience or who they are. The time
referred to the duration that passes between the occurrence of two events while space referred to
one’s physical areas from all angles and directions.
