Description
i need help solving a trig question . i need to find the cos, sin and the missing degree and sides A=65 degrees, B=50 degrees, side c= 12. now i need to find sides a,b and degree C
Explanation & Answer
Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
b = 3.17, a = 12, C = 65
Explanation: The sum of all angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees. Therefore, C = 180 -(50+65) = 65.
Since A and C are equal, the triangle is isoceles. An isoceles triangle has to opposite sides equal. a is opposite to c. Therefore, a = 12.
Drawing a perpendicular from B to line b, the perpendicular divides B into 2. Finding the product of a and Sin 25(ie 50/2) gives us half of b. Multiplying that by 2 gives us b, which is 3.17
Cos 65 = -0.5625
Cos 50 = 0.9650
Sin 65 = 0.8268
Sin 50 = -0.2624
