Initial Population Size:

Put t=0

P(0) = 340/(1+8)

P(0) = 37.78 or 38 rounding off to nearest whole number.

Population after 9 years:

P(9) = 340/(1+8e^-.018*9)

P(9) = 340/(1+8*0.1979)

P(9) = 131.62 = 132 rounding off to nearest whole number.
