Drum Buffer rope system is an application for the theory of production. The process is named
after three essential elements in the production process. Drum refers to the constraints and
weaknesses in the system, and a buffer is the time duration for the release of the materials while
rope is the timing for the release of materials (Wen & Zhou, 2009). The process works on the
assumption that there is always a scarcity in the materials of production, and the system is
