The civil war amendments were used to help in changing the way America was governed.
These amendments consist of three amendments that did not happen once. The civil amendments
include 13th, 14th and 15th amendments. These amendments helped in the addressing of issues of
slavery and the differential treatment of individuals at the federal level. The civil war
amendments helped in the creation of a wave of events that helped set forth the civil rights
movement.
Why Frederick Douglass advocated for the recruitment of Africa Americans in the Military
Frederick Douglass was an enthusiast and a supporter of freedom. Having grown up as a
slave, Fredrick Douglass advocated for the freeing of the enslaved African-Americans.
According to Fredrick Douglass allowing Africans to serve in the Military was the first step
towards full citizenship. This experience would enlighten the African-Americans and give them
both the vision and drive that could cumulatively give them freedom.
