Which organizational structure is the company trying to put into effect: line organization, line and staff organization, matrix-style organization, or cross-functional self-managed teams? Why do feel that this is the organizational structure? Why do you think the company is trying to structure itself this way?

It's is probably line organization because it shows self-contained departments defining the business or industry structure. Each department manager control over department's affairs and employees. Accountability goes upwards from the bottom along the Chain of command, while authority travels downwards from the top.
