Introduction
Humanities refer to the disciplines of understanding human cultures and society.
Humanities revolve around the speculative and critical aspects with the historical element. There
are many humanities associated with cultural developments and remain differentiable from the
aspects of natural science (Fiero, 2013). They generally revolve around topics such as history,
religion, politics, art, modern languages, and literature. The humanities aspects are applied as
they create a connection between the current world human inhabitants with those who lived
before them. The disciplines covered to offer a united element of doing things in the world by
humans that is similar between different generations. Typically, the concept of humanities never
fades, but they remain intact as they are used and automatically referred by different ages. The
paper will describe several humanities in addition to identifying compelling themes associated
with them. It will also create an understanding of the humanities to one's life and create an
integration of a few common human values.
