The last two decades has been meaningful periods for the economy of Mexico. The

considered to be high among international standards. The inequality across Mexico has coexisted with rapid progress concerning educational standards and availability attainments for
both coverage and distribution (Adams et al., 2008). Such phenomenon’s have developed power
equalizing properties in which have been attributed to being successful given the president of the
newly found elections in the year of 2018. In 2018, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador became
president to preside over the country (Tuckman, 2018). He has significantly directed changes
regarding the war on drugs, inequality, education access, and political stand points. The poverty
trends in Mexico have been long identified with social and economic challenges. However, there
are also other factors in which affects the morals and ethics of the country to withstand poverty
levels. Over the last decade, incomes grew from only 1.7% to 4.5% on a 10% scale (Lewis,
2019).
Among the rural populations that are evident throughout Mexico, incidences of childhood
and adulthood illness have been regarded to the poor reproductive outcomes of the healthcare
system. Infant mortality is high along with the results of most rural areas being unhygienic living

about 2,000 rural health clinics incorporated across many states of Mexico. In the year of 1993,
when Gortari administration was enacted, they funded many social spending increases which
were channeled through the transitional methods of cost-effective programs and included
community involvement (Gerschenkron, 2016).
The landslide victory of leftist candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador in Mexico’s
presidential election in 2018 was the biggest political shake up the country has seen in decades;
and it has the potential to change the way politics is done for decades more (Tuckman, 2018).
The 64-year-old baseball enthusiast won 53 percent of the vote, riding a wave of exhaustion and
disgust with the country’s current leaders, who have led the country into a deep security crisis
amid a cascade of corruption scandals. More than 25,000 individuals were killed in Mexico in
2017, as indicated by power figures the most astounding number whenever recorded and the
numbers for the basic five months of 2018 are up 15 percent on a similar period a year back
(Tuckman, 2018). An ordinary 130 political contenders and other open masters were butchered

for president twice before ineptly; was at last arranged to benefit by discontent with the standard

1910 transformation (Tuckman, 2018).

force. This was followed by the increase of women participating while a decrease in the
importance of family labor and non-paid workers. However, significant improvements were
made in the educational levels given the advancements of labor routines and wage
(Gerschenkron, 2016). Some of the most relevant changes have taken place in the informal
salaried employment opportunities. The trends behind this concerns the dramatic decline with the
importance of agriculture. There have also been remarkable changes in the composition of rural
incomes because of the relevance of self-employment and entrepreneurial incomes. The growth
of agricultural means can provide potential strengthening to the reduction of Mexico’s poverty
