Description

I need 1 and 2 both Case study

1. Case study - In < 700 words, write a response essay that addresses the following questions/issues:

    • ● What are some of the ways in which Facebook has adjusted its advertising strategy for a mobile, app-based world?
    • ● How was Little Passports able to achieve a considerable level of success by using Facebook’s ad platform?
    • ● How do you feel personally about Facebook’s LookAlike Audiences program? Why do you think Mark Zuckerberg expressed fears about putting more ads into users’ news feeds? In this section, feel free to talk about your own experiences as a user of Facebook (or any other, similar online community). Are there any particular advertisements (or advertising approaches) that you felt were particularly good? Or, have you ever felt a negative reaction towards such ads?

You may consult outside sources to help inform your understanding of the general themes/ideas, but you do not need to. No citations are needed, either. Most of your time and energy should be devoted to the third section. I am looking to see case write-ups that demonstrate effort and originality -- not some particular “right” answer to the questions.

Remember the word limit -- it is included here for a reason.

2. Case Study #2: The Right to be Forgotten: Europe Leads on Internet Privacy

  • Read the case study in Chapter 8 of the textbook, titled “The Right to be Forgotten: Europe Leads on Internet Privacy.”
  • In < 700 words, write a response essay that addresses the following questions/issues:
    • ● What is the Right to be Forgotten?
    • ● Why did Google initially resist the decision made by the European Union?
    • ● How do you feel personally about the Right to be Forgotten? What is good about

it? What is bad about it? Why do you think the implementation is so difficult?

You may consult outside sources to help inform your understanding of the general themes/ideas, but you do not need to. No citations are needed, either. Most of your time and energy should be devoted to the third section. I am looking to see case write-ups that demonstrate effort and originality -- not some particular “right” answer to the questions.

Remember the word limit -- it is included here for a reason.

Facebook Case Study
Part 1
Facebook has been playing an essential role in an advertisement in this 21st century. An effective
mobile strategy has got inflicted by the social network giant. In 2012, Facebook made a massive
step by redesigning its “Facebook App” more precisely for smartphones. Facebook, through this
approach, was able to introduce new ads within the user “Newsfeeds” as well as making a new
introduction of the “App-Install ads” to stand as an ad where users could download applications
for free since Facebook pays the services. Alongside app-install, Facebook as well introduced the
“in-app ad” whereby both got introduced as secret weapons of Facebook upon which not many
investors were aware of them and their purpose. Secondly, Facebook reached a remarkable boost
through improvising from using browsers to acquiring its mobile application. Furthermore, this
served as a significant improvement, and it helped Facebook. According to recent statistics, in the
United States, adults spend 57 percent of the total time spent on digital errands on Apps. Thirtyfour percent of their time is spent on desktops while 9 percent on mobile browsers. Also, research
has indicated that individuals from the age of eighteen to twenty-four spend three hours a day on
mobile apps. Therefore, Facebook made a wise decision on developing its app to attract a
significant percentage of the world. The decision has seen Facebook rice its market value and
driving towards achieving their dream of surpassing Google in the market. When advertisers
display apps within the ads, Application developers and Facebook share the prize of the ad. About
thirty million Apps use Facebook for advertisement and user installation, whereby statistic has
proved that over four billion apps get installed every year.
