Assignment #2 – Draft an Annual Performance Review and Evaluation Template (15%) This assignment relates to the following Course Learning Requirements: CLR2 – Analyze the individual behaviours and processes as they apply to you in an organizational setting CLR4 - Learn organizational processes Objective of this Assignment: To demonstrate knowledge and application of the need for, and benefits of effective employee performance review, evaluation and planning. Step 1: For this assignment, read the following scenario: Your team of change-makers has secured some additional budget resources to train and upgrade the employee team on soft-skills, as well as on job specific competencies. You begin sourcing training and workforce professional development but quickly realize that you do not have a strong understanding of what gaps exist in the employee team. To bridge this gap, you decide to create a never before used employee performance review and evaluation process. The document will be used to engage employees in discussions and action plans related to their growth, evolution and development, which must be linked to organizational goals. Draft a process and a fillable template (tool) that you can use for the entire employee group with a focus on enhancing organizational behaviour. Step 2: Using the scenario outlined above, and your working knowledge of organizational behaviour, outline the key contents of an effective performance planning and evaluation process. Be attentive to describing each component part of the process you are designing, linking all content back to the goal of enhancing organizational behaviour and culture. Take the process once completed and create a fillable form that you will use to guide your discussions and followthrough. The form will be used to document the information gathered during individual processes and reinforce desired employee growth and professional development plans while seeking feedback from the individual being evaluated. You must design the program from the scenario provided. If there is information that you require that is not noted in the scenario, just make your own assumptions but ensure to note them in your assignment. Step 3: 1. The assignment details should be captured in 500 – 750 words PLUS a fillable form. It will be marked based on the rubric below. 2. Your assignment is to be submitted in MS WORD format. It should be submitted with the following guidelines: • Include a cover page with the course code and course name, the assignment number, the title of your assignment, your student ID, your name, the instructor’s name, and the date the assignment is created. • Ensure the first page of your assignment has the title at the top of the page and the sections of your report have headings and subheadings to chunk your paper into sections for each of the topics you are writing about. • Font should be either Calibri or Arial, 11pt. Text must be double spaced but table may be single spaced. • You must cite all your sources of information using APA formatting. • Create a separate reference page that lists all of your sources that you have cited in text.
