Introduction
Basically, IoT (Internet of Things) defines the interconnectedness between computers
over the network where they can be able to communicate between themselves without the need
for intervention of humans. Their connectedness can be controlled remotely to ensure proper
communication. The "thing" is this context is the device in the whole components that help to
relay the message to humans from the device. For example, an automobile that has a sensor on it
which can notify the driver in case there is a puncture on the tire or an animal with a micro
biochip that can help in communication. Ideally, these sensors can either be natural or man-made
but their functionality is based on the fact that they can be assigned an IP address that can enable
data transfer between the devices, therefore, enhancing communication (Coetzee, 2011).
This great modern technology has some benefits as discussed below. Of essence to note
is that the benefits of IoT are more of based on its application on people's daily lives and other
fields. Firstly, the IOT is currently being used in the monitoring and management of patients
whereby, various sensors are placed in the body of the patients and they give the information that
