Part 1
Client Reassessment
Reassess your treatment plan diagnoses, goals, and objectives based on the new
information provided.
The initial treatment plan for Eliza entailed behavioral training, skills training, and family
therapy which were aimed at helping the client to cope with college life which was the main
cause of distress and anxiety. After it was found out that she was drunk and had passed out in her
room, it became clear that the intervention did not bear the intended results. The changes
identified are as a result of the ineffectiveness of the provided interventions. It is also as a result
of inability to deal effectively with cognitive and behavioral changes in the client. This
reassessment intends to alter the adopted approach to her treatment plan and recommend the
referral of the patient to a qualified specialist for enhanced treatment approach. According to the
patient’s reactions, it is evident that the initial treatment was ineffective mainly because of the
stage of implementation thus it didn’t improve the client’s stage. The initial complaint that led to
the client’s diagnosis was that she has been found drinking alcohol in the dormitory with her
friends. However, the apparent elevation in her drinking that has led to her passing out is a clear
indication that the problem she was experiencing has not been resolved.
Fill out and submit a new treatment plan evidencing the changes made in treatment
