mass= molar mass*moles

a)molar mass of Na=23 g/mol

mass of Na=23 g/mol *0.25 mols

mass of Na=5.75 g


b)molar mass of  Ca=40 g/mol

molar mass of Cl=35.5 g/mol

calcium chloride=CaCl2

molar mass of CaCl2=40+35.5*2

=111 g/mol


mass of calcium chloride=111 g/mol *0.25 mols

mass of calcium chloride=27.75 g
