The Brown v. Board of education case was ruled that the segregation of children in school was
not allowed but rather despite the race differences in children they were to learn together. The
case gave a firm foundation for civil rights movement as people from different races came
together to fight for equality in other sectors of the economy (Bowe et al). The case gave the
African Americans the opportunity to fight segregation cases that were happening in the
workplaces and in the government. African Americans could run for presidency for they had the
same rights as the Whites in regards to their rights in the American society. Brown v. Board of
education case made the people in the community to realize they could gain the rights they
needed as the court system was willing to promote equality in the American society as this would
result in peace of the whole country.
