Cheating in exams is very prevalent in most institutions of learning. Inadequate preparations before exams lead to the temptation of wanting to participate in cheating to excel in that particular subject. However, before one tries to impress his/her teachers by good results from cheating, it is important that he/she first looks beyond the exam bit. It does not make one feel good knowing that you succeeded in academics from cheating. It lowers one's self-esteem since it is obvious that he/she won't perform as expected given responsibilities in the relevant profession. I had to make a moral decision not to cheat in exams after realising that it does not benefit me to excel from fraud.
