A bike was marked down by 1/4 of the original price. If the sales price is $250 what is the original price?

We have been given the sales price as $250.

Let the original price be $x.

It is marked down by 1/4.

So the orginal price -Discount=Sales price

x-x/4 =250

3x/4 =250

x=$333.33(answer)

Original Price =$333.33
