h) Force is defined as rate of change of momentum.

Now momentum of lineman = m1v1 = 120*6.5 = 780Kgm/s

time taken = 0.25s

hence force = 780/0.25 = 3120N


i) Let the final velocity of quarterback be v2, then

m1v1+m2v2 = 0

780+110*v2

v2 = 7.091m/s
