Inside job
Inside job is a documentary that tells a story of the financial crisis and the corruption of
the banking system in the united states of America. The award-winning documentary is divided
into five chapters, discussing the privatization of banks, the political systems in the banks, and
what led to the collapse of most banks. In addition to this, the documentary discusses the effects
of the corrupt banking system on society. In the first chapter, the documentary shows the
changes in the economy, most of which were as a result of technology, thus creating a risky
system. Section two discusses this system, where the investment banks told investors that they
were well off with high ratings because they sold more CD O's. The third chapter is about the
wrong side of the system, which most people did not talk about; hence the economy was going to
a great recession. Banks collapsed, thus showing how corruption had impacted on the banking
system. Chapter four is about attempts to help change this system. Help from the government did
not seem to work, and they, therefore, chose to change the political system to suit them. The final
chapter shows the moment that we are at now. It is clear that there is no significant change, and
there is a risk of another recession. There is no change noted because the same people who cause
the mess are still in charge.
I think the most interesting part of the movie is how things we think are trivial can lead to
significant impacts on both the banking system and the economy. Poor decisions and selfish acts
of a few people caused a recession of the whole economy in the united states of America. One of
the controversies of this film is the numerous claims that the wall street caused the loss of
millions of jobs worldwide, and most of its investments have no value as they always end up in
losses. The movie best describes financial ethics. The movie explains how selfishness,
corruption, and mismanagement of funds affect the economy and society.
Gas land and the sky is pink
The movie is about a resident of Pennsylvania who received a letter to lease his family
land to a natural gas company. Before leasing the land, the writer visits areas where natural gas
has continuously been extracted for decades to see the impacts. On the director's journey across
24 states, he makes some evident and other disturbing discoveries on the effects of hydraulic
fracturing. The documentary is set on how profit-seeking corporations have utilized these lands
at the expense of the residents. It shows both the long term and short-term impacts of the
extraction activities of the neighboring communities in the west. The documentary is clear that
fracking causes both long term and short-term effects on the health of the people and the
environment. In addition to this, the documentary shows how few corporations work to benefit
themselves economically, while the communities and the environment, including the wildlife,
continue to suffer. One of the most disturbing discoveries is how water supplied to the
homesteads is so contaminated that it can be set on fire as it flows from the taps. Although the
natural gas miners promise land owners quick payoffs, it is poisonous, and it contaminates water
and air.
The most interesting part of this movie is the decision of director Fox to investigate the
consequences of fracking to the community before agreeing to sign in the deal. It is rare for

people to make this decision, and this shows that Fox is not selfish but instead cares for society.
The controversial aspects in that the fracking companies continue to extract the natural gas
knowing its effects on the community. The ethical issue in this film is taking advantage of the
local communities. The fracturing companies expose the local communities to hazards that affect
their health and wellbeing.
Fed Up
The movie is about a journalist who investigates the food industries and discovers that
they are the causes of more sicknesses than previously thought. The filmmaker and the journalist
study the processed food where they discover that the long-overlooked ...
