Age does matter given leading and leadership styles roles, but not necessarily in a
negative manner. I feel that with age, there is much wisdom that was gained over the years. The
older leaders have more capabilities in dealing with a diverse team group while being able to
adapt to that group in ways that enhance their leading abilities (Leadership, n.d.). Those who are
younger and who leads a team was not acquired such skills of wisdom and adaptation because
they have not had as much experience as opposed to the older leaders. However, there is room to
grow with younger leaders to become better leaders in the future through trial and error, and
learning from their experiences, just as the older leaders had done (Leadership, n.d.).
